| Eric was wondering around the train looking into all the carriages, he noticed a girl sporting red sweater. He smirked and opened the door.

| Beth tapped on the door to the room before sliding open the door.
she saw two older students. she had hoped this carriage was empty so she didn't look stupid for interrupting anyone. she debated weather she should leave or stay, and decided she would look more like a looser if she left.
So she grinned at both of them and with a voice slightly higher in pitch than normal said," h-hello." after glancing at both of them to see if either one was going to jump at her with a chain-saw and finding that neither was, she continued with more confidence. "I'm Bethany. this is my first time on a train, so would it bother either of you if I joined you?"

| Anna looked around to see that there were three other students in one compartment. She didn't really want to join the others, she never liked socializing unless they were in her House, or at least compatible friends. She glanced over at guy who sat across the Asian girl but went on walking to the next one. She slid open the door and closed it quietly, sitting down next to the window. | |

| She smiled gratefully at the girl then plopped into the seat beside her. She took off her panda stuffed animal/back pack and set it in her lap. "Hi Karisa." she gave her an unsure smile before continuing, "is boarding school hard? I mean I've only been to regular public schools till now. I cant really get rid of the idea of my math teacher barging in on me while I'm brushing my teeth." | |

"No it's not hard, it's may be a little annoying that you are always at school but it's fun. I don't think that any of the teachers will walk in on you they have separate bathrooms."

| Beth Smiled at them both gratefully. "well its a good thing I don't make much mischief then."
Beth Squeezed the Panda on her lap, then her eyes poped out in surprise. "Aw man. I forgot!" quickly with careful hands she unzipped a compartment on the panda's back and reviled a bag of smashed cookies. "I didn't mean to squish them..." she opened the bag to servey the damage. then looked at Karisa and the boy. "I know they are in pieces, but they were chocolate chip cookies, and home made on top of it. would you both like some?" | |

"If you are willing to part with a piece of the cookie." Karisa had a bit of a sweet tooth, even though Japanese typically don't eat sweets.

| "Sure! have as many as you want." Beth held the open end towards Karisa. "Becareful though, these are my dad's cookies, they are so good that once you start eating them you cant stop till their gone." with that she saluted with her cookie and ate the cummy peice in one gulp.
That was when she noticed the other girl. the one Eric was talking to. She seamed more shy than even she could be. "Hi Anna. Would you like a cookie?" she smiled and slowly held out a mangled cookie. she hoped she could become friends with everyone. | |

| Beth hadn't meant to take the spotlight from Eric's Question with the cookie, so when his question was ignored she gave him a smile and a small shoulder shrug trying to say, ' what can you do?'
she was glad that everyone was enjoying a cookie. well everyone except Eric, "Are you sure you don't want one?" she asked him as she munched on more cookie pieces. | |

"If it's any consolation they look good I just am not a big fan of sweets." The girl was cool to bad she was in Aer he though with a laugh at least for the most part Crypted Haven didn't have house rivalries as bad as some of the other schools. | |

Beth stared intensely at Eric and unconsciously tilted her head to the side.
"...your not a big fan of sweats? is that possible?" her voice was disbelieving, but then it changed to a curious tone. "Are you diabetic or something?"
she paused and took a moment to wipe the chocolate that had smeared on her lip with a hankerchiff from her panda bag.

| David opened the door to the compartment. He hadn't wanted to sit in one of the empty compartments like a loser, but he didn't know anyone here...yet.
It really was too early to be perky, but he made do with what he could. "Hi." He sat down next to the guy. and squinted to get used to the light. "I'm David" He waved in a general direction and surveyed the company. there was a small kid eating cookies, two good looking chicks, and the average looking guy next to him.
he caught himself checking out the Asian chick. Man, she had nice legs.he looked away, and hoping she hadn't caught him, he quietly swore under his breath. Which then when he remembered the kid, he felt bad about. hoping to draw attention to himself, he took out his newly acquired smart phone and began playing cut the rope. | |

| Karisa looked at the people around her and smiled it was nice to be talking to people again instead of being at home alone and bored.
Karisa watched a guy enter the room and sit next to Eric.
"I'm David." he said before looking around Karisa bowed her head and laughed, this year was going to be interesting, she looked up in time to see him quickly look away from her.
Karisa watched him pull out a cell phone and she looked in shock.
"You have a phone?" she asked sliding on the bench over to the seat in-front of him and Eric.
"Are you half-blood or muggle born and do you have a charm on your phone so that magic doesn't fry it?" she asked with a large smile on her face. she hoped that she hadn't scared him away she was just really excited to see someone else with muggle technology, Since she was a half blood. | |

Eric looked at Bethany for a second before he threw his head back in laughter.
"Yes it is possible and no I am not diabetic I am as healthy as a horse and I want to keep it that way." He grinned.
Eric looked at the new guy that had wlaked in the room and sat next to him. He also noticed the looks he had given the girls on the train.
